The idea of being an affiliate marketer is not only to offer a great product but also to produce a great income. Too many beginners believe that they will be able to just pick a product and magically money will appear. Although affiliate marketing is not very hard it is more complicated than just that. Success is always within reach however, with the proper amount of time and hard work.
Although markets are constantly changing and new and unique methods are being produced the basics are generally the same. However as long as you have access to the proper information and utilize tips well you too can have great success with affiliate marketing.
1. Promote your products using separate and unique web pages. Sure clumping products together will save you money on web hosting but in the long run will just cause your targeted audience confusion and frustration. Having articles or web pages designated solely to one product will greatly increase your chances of success.
Utilize reviews on your current product to help give your prospects a better understanding of your product. Testimonials from current subscribers to the product can be used to further enhance your chances of making new sales. Make sure these customers are willing to allow you to use their information on the site of the product you are marketing.
Include articles or pages dedicated to highlighting key points about your product. Again these key points should allow the prospect to understand how this product is useful to them. Ensure the pages are appealing to your target audience and are able to entice them into acting on the information you are providing. These pages should even be designed with such attraction the prospect is even compelled to contacting you personally. Ultimately if all is done correctly your pages will lead to prospects wanting more information no matter how little or how much.
2. Use your site to your advantage. Post free reports for your customers. Be sure to position these reports somewhere obvious, so they can’t be missed. Be sure to create yourself a squeeze page for your site as well. This will ensure you get your prospects information for later use. As mentioned in a previous article, studies have shown that prospects usually do not buy until the 6th or 7th meeting. This is why it is a great reason to have these lists
Just using your site with none of the above options can lead to only 2 things. You will either make a one-time sale or your customer will leave the site never to return again. However, with the use of the information you received from your squeeze page, you can always stay in contact which can ensure the sale of the product at hand and even produce prospects for future sales. Ensure however, that the content on the site is relevant to your targeted audience and do your best to avoid making it sound like a sales pitch.
Focusing on how your product can serve the customer well and improve their life is a great way to promote. Use very compelling subjects, however, try to refrain from using the word free as much as you can. Reason being is most spam filters will dump these messages with free right into the spam box without the reader ever reading the email. The ultimate goal of these emails is to make the user believe they will be missing something incredible if they don’t try your product.
3. Get targeted traffic to your site. Directing people to your site that have no interest whatsoever in your product is not ideal. Therefore you need to advertise in a way that appeals to your niche rather than a wide variety of people. Using your articles, publish as many Ezines as you can. This will not only build a reputation for yourself, but will also give you the ability to locate publications that are focusing on your same niche. Which in turn may get the target audience interested in what you have to say?
Try to write a minimum of 2 articles per week, with at least 500 words. Doing so will eventually increase your reader base as they will see all your articles and feel more confident you know what you are talking about. Statistics show that of every 100 targeted visitors 1 will make a purchase. Therefore set a beginning goal of around 500 hits per day and based on statistics this should generate you at least 5 sales a day.
With the proper amount of work and effort, in time you too can become an affiliate marketing success. Once you get the process down try using these tips on several different projects and watch the profits flow. You can end up maintaining a great source of income and thrive in a business that many have tried and so few do.
