I shot a documentary with a friend and we got our first festival acceptance. We made a Myspace page, posted a trailer, but short of inviting our friends, some festival site pages, and making updates about future screenings etc...I'm not sure if I'm using our page as effectively as I could. Is it also better to invite people or urge people to add you? I don't want to be a spammer. Any insight or advice given based on personal experience would be greatly appreciated! ...

MySpace.com is quickly being adapted as a part of many small and large business marketing plans. The reason is MySpace.com is currently the world’s 4th most popular English website and the 3rd most popular website in the United States (Source: Alexa.com August 2006). The site is attracting new users at a pace of over 230,000 new users per a day which means the network is only going to get larger and spread to additional demographics. What advantages in marketing doe...

    Posted February 14th, 2010 at 4:48 pm
All who markets online is interested in getting FREE visitors to their web page to breed opt-ins to a mailing list, more sales, or Adsense gains. I only yesterday had the opportunity to obtain a new software tool called Spacepromoter that accomplishes precisely that. I was indeed able to send out comments to 300 users after just the fifth day of working with this usefull piece of software. I previousy had to create lots of MySpace user accounts by hand and dispatch comments ...
  • Is myspace.com a huge marketing scheme?

Call me crazy, but I think that myspace.com is simply a massive marketing scheme. At this point it is owned by News Corp. News Corp. is one of 6 huge corporations (the others are Viacom, NBC, Disney, Sony, and of course AOL Time Warner) that own nearly all media outlets in the U.S. including almost all major newspapers, record companies, radio stations, television channels, publishing companies, etc. (check out http://www.cjr.org/tools/owners/newscorp.asp for more info). Anyway, these "Big 6...

    Posted February 14th, 2010 at 3:51 pm

Shutting down a company like this makes a lot of sense because in their terms they say you are only allowed to have one MySpace profile. BadderAdder was also shut down but their software had nothing to do with creating multiple ...
