  • What is the rule for a one-time email blast to previous customers?

Our company has an email list from an event we held last year. The email list was from people who registered online or via faxed form for the event, but we neglected to include an "opt-in" check box for future emails. Are we allowed to send a one-time email blast out to those people (with opt-out information in the email) for the same event this year without being considered spammers? Please provide any links to interstate emailing rules that you can cite. Thank you! ...

I made a friend through a girl my boyfriend was seeing while we were on a break. She is still friends with this girl, and my boyfriend and I are back together. Naturally neither this girl or myself want to be around eachother. It was our mutual friends birthday and I found out the girl was going. I also had family in town so I opted out of attending the birthday and told my friend I would take her out separately to celebrate. She is now ignoring me and not answering my emails, calls, texts....

HI There, First of all, i was told by a website that you can watch free movies on this site, but when i clicked to the next page, you had to agree to monthly cell phone service before you could watch a movie. I don't need cell phone service anyway, so i opted out. I tried to go back to make sure that this info was correct, but couldn't find it. I was trying to contact the admin from this site, but they didn't return my email. I would like to hear from someone that is familiar wit...
