1) Salesletter
The salesletter is very very important when choosing a Clickbank product. I look out for a few things: a solid, benefit-driven headline, good body copy, strong benefit-filled bullet points, testimonials, powerful bonuses and a good call-to-action. It also helps if the salesletter has decent graphics to go with it.
2) Quality of product
If possible, get a copy of the product by buying it or asking the product owner for a free copy. If you have a pretty decent track record at Clickbank, you can produce a screenshot of your recent sales that you have been making and most product owners will be only too happy to pass you a copy.
3) Commissions
The commission rate and the amount earned per sale is obviously important. Personally, I don’t promote products that go below $ 20 earned per sale.
4) Gravity
If the Gravity rating is high, it shows the product is selling well. However, it might also means a lot of affiliates are promoting it, so it’s also important to look at…
5) % Referred
This is the amount of sales which are referred by affiliates. If this number if too high (above 75%), it might mean too much competition in promoting the product. A decent % referred might be around 50%.
