Question by mini daschund lover: How can I find a mini daschund to replace a loved ones loss?
I tried craiglist.org last night to reply to a lady’s posting for a free mini daschund. For some reason it was flagged and I was unable to try to get the dog. I posted an ad trying to reach her and it was flagged also. Today it has been a year since our female daschund of 9 years passed away. I wanted to get the female daschund to replace my ex-husbands loss. When I told him about the posting and that I was going to try to get the dog for him he got choked up and thanked me. She was the child we could never have together in many ways. We had her from the day she was born. If anyone can help me to replace the great loss in our hearts, please let me know where else to look. So many animals are put to sleep for lack of a home and he is willing to take in a mini tan female daschund to love. If you can help me find other sites or avenues to look, I would be grateful for the help. Thank you.

I know how he feels some people never understand how are dogs are like our children. I have kids but, my 3 dogs are my kids too. If I were you i would research breaders and rescues first. I didn’t know about puppy mills years ago, but after learning about them I would NEVER agian buy an animal from a pet store.

If I were you I would checkout the local humane society in your area! For a small fee you can save the life of a dog/puppie or they may be able to give you the info ofpeople in your area with puppies. Also a local Vets. office may be able to help.
