I live and study in Thailand for several years, I have bought HTC Tattoo, now the Android market place in Thailand is so poor, there is only handful of free apps. No facebook no nothing, Im getting a bit desperate here.

Is there any way to fool handset to think it is in the US or UK to access those market places (I just want some of the free apps that are avaliable there).

If not, is there anywhere I can get those apps from the internet and install them myself via AppsInstaller?

Thank you
Dean, since you dont allow PM or email.
Can you please explain a bit in detail since Im quite noob in Android sphere, but I used to work with ipones before

It would be possible to trick it to think its US or UK but do it the easy way by looking around 4shared for ‘.apk’ files and install them via Android Developer Bridge (ADB) just search for installing apk’s via ADB you can find ADB on http://developer.android.com/sdk/index.html thats a big download with alot of un-needed stuff but im sure you could find a seperate download for adb somewhere and there should be a guide on using adb somewhere. Hope that helps.
