Wear some very revealing and provoking clothes and stand on a corner late at night.

The best way to obtain a job is networking, use whatever resources you have, such as your school’s alumni, family, friends, career fairs, etc.
Also focus on jobs that you are qualified for. Most people don’t land there dream jobs right out of school. If you had previous jobs, internships, volunteer work ,question for letters of recommendation.
If you haven’t had any previous job experience, try landing an internship first, or provide your service to a company for small or no pay, for a trial period.
If you haven’t been getting any calls after submitting your resume. Try enhancing your resume and cover letter. Have a professional review it.
If you have been getting interviews with no offers, try brushing up on your interview skills.
The key to getting a job in this type of economy is persistence and patience. Keep at it, everyday. Don’t get discouraged. Try having a fixed routine each day, where you dedicate X amount of hours to you job hunt everyday.

I reckon that in this economy, with unemployment the way it is, just getting a foot in the door would be incredible! There are LOTS of people out there, with the same degree, with a lot more experience that are willing to take the same money for the same positions that you are applying for. The job hunt in this day and age is a completely different animal. Try for more clerical or administrative positions at the same companies and work your way into the position you want. I know that this may be disappointing but right now just finding a job, any job, is reason to celebrate. Get any kind of a job at a company you want to work for and get to know people and gain some practical experience. Truly earn the job that you want with hard work, you can’t just expect to handed the job you want because you have a degree. Doesn’t work that way anymore. Excellent luck!

Go back to school and get a “real degree,” instead of an simple one?

Or, look for a career in sales… everyone is always hiring for sales people.

Final option, look for a “careers,” link on websites of companies in town where you’d like to work and apply from there

Many jobs don’t every get posted on craigslist or monster
