I want an HD camera. preferably one that does pictures and videos(mainly built for pictures though). i’d like for it to be Cannon, love the brand. I am going to the caribbean this summer and i want to take great quality pictures to capture the experiences i have. It doesn’t matter if it’s a big camera or thin camera, i’d like a lot of megapixels too, they seem to be a good quality determiner… lol haha
If you know what camera corey williams (mr.safety) on youtube uses PLEASE LET ME KNOW! the quality is OUTSTANDING!

The Canon PowerShot SD780 would suit your needs if you need something compact. It costs about $200 in most places.

You won’t find one because Cannon does not make cameras.
But of course, I knew what you meant.
Try this http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/compare.asp Enter the specs you want, and it will you want you should get.

Here are the best 2 Canon DSLRs that do video. The Canon EOS 5D Mark II DSLR 21MP is a wuperb camera and cost more because it has the “full frame” sensor that is the size of 35mm. The Canon EOS Rebel T1i is an excellent camera also. Below I listed some links to some websites, the first lists the cameras side by side so you could compare features and specs plus the page has links to camera reviews that include sample images.
Here are the camera with an esitmated price:
Canon EOS Rebel T1i (500D) 15MP DSLR w/EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS Lens – $769
Canon EOS 5D Mark II DSLR 21MP DSLR camera – body only – $769
I also included some photo dealer links, 2 of the dealers, B&H Photo and Adorama have customer reviews also which may be of assistance.
Hope this helps.

Actually, Canon’s new top dog DSLR that also offers video is the 1D Mark IV which started shipping in the US last month. Granted, it costs $5200 but, if you want the best… The three other Canon DSLR models that offer video are the 5DmkII ($2500), 7D ($1700), and Rebel T1i/500D ($700).
If you’d prefer a point-and-shoot, you’ll be considering one of the PowerShot series of cameras. There are two dozen different models and I’m afraid I haven’t really paid attention to which one do/don’t shoot video. My G10 shoots video as does my S90 but, I am sure there are other, cheaper models that also shoot video.
