The Affiliate Program is new to me. I would like to know if I would have to personally recruit customers (door to door or some other means), or if once initial set up of services are complete, will everything be done automatically?
Sorry. No data so far.

Affiliate programs are typically those programs that a publisher like you joins or signs up to earn money — and you earn money through commissions by selling the company’s products.
Take for example Amazon.com’s Associate program http://affiliate-program.amazon.com/gp/associates/join where you put a link on your website to Amazon.com’s products, and you earn money if a visitor to your website clicks on the link and purchases that item or other items from Amazon.com
So yes, YOU will be responsible for finding the customers and your earnings will depend on how many customers you give to the company. The more sales you do for them, the higher your earning. Companies afterall do affiliate programs so they can get help in selling their products — and that is your role.

Affliate programs require that you recruit customers and other affiliates to be in your downline. Most affiliate programs now are online programs. Programs like Tupperware are still going strong. Here is a site that will give you more information. http://ewebsmith.com

Call the company or ask the person whom signed you up
